특수체육학에 있어서 Q방법론의 적용 가능성 탐색 = Exploration on the Applicability of Q methodology in Research in APA

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2000년대에 이르러 특수체육(Adapted Physical Activity)은 그 패러다임이 변화되었고, 이러한 변화는 특수체 육학에 다양한 연구를 시도할 수 있게 하였다. 그 중, 질적 연구는 사용자가 계속 증가하고 있는 연구방법으로 써 인간의 내면을 바라본다는 점에서 당위성을 갖고 있다. 그와 동시에 학계에서는 질적 연구와 관련하여 연구 본연의 가치 및 연구자의 준비, 연구방법의 혼란 등과 관련하여 우려의 목소리 역시 끊임없이 계속되어 왔다. 이러한 이분법적 구조 대립에 대해서 주관성과 객관성 사이의 긴장을 해소시킬 수 있는 연구방법으로서 스티 븐슨은 Q방법론을 제안하였으며, 1970년대 국내에 소개되어 광고학, 정치학, 정책학, 간호학 분야에서 활용되기 시작하였다. 이에, 본 연구는 문헌고찰을 통해 Q방법론을 특수체육 분야의 연구에 적용할 수 있는지에 대해 탐 색하는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 다양한 문헌을 고찰하고 최근 이루어진 다양한 연구 결과물들을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 특수체육연구에 Q방법론을 적용하는 것은 심리적 세분화, 가설 발견적 연구, 효과검증 연구, 연구대상자의 확대에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특수체육에서 Q방법론은 특수체육의 다양한 욕구나 기대, 의견대립 탐색에 대한 기여를 할 것이다. 본 연구는 특수체육에서 다루는 중요한 연구 분야의 하나인 인간의 가치나 장애인을 둘러싼 타자의 태도, 장애 관련 종사자의 신념 등 과 관련된 주관성을 보다 과학적으로 접근하는데 있어 Q방법론의 유용성과 기여가능성이 높음을 제시한다. 이 에 추후 특수체육학 연구에 있어서 Q방법론을 이용한 주관성 연구가 보다 많이 이루어지길 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Around the time of 2000, adapted physical activity is freed from the past paradigm focused on rehabilitation and training but has the altered frame of view grounded on the various research of the disabled to realize integrated physical education activities with minimized limited environment and let the disabled participate in society. Among them, qualitative research is a method of research constantly increasing and has the appropriateness from the viewpoint to see the inside of human beings. Along with this, the academic circles have also continually made voices of concern regarding the ultimate value of research, preparation of researchers, or confusion of research methods. As a research method to get rid of such tension between subjectivity and objectivity regarding such dichotomy structural contrast, Stephenson suggested Q methodology. As it was introduced in the 1970`s into Korea, it has been used for the research in the areas of advertisement, politics, policy science, or nursing. Thereupon, with the research method of reviewing, this paper aims to explore and discuss the applicability of Q methodology to adapted physical activity. To attain the research goal concretely, this study considered diverse books and analyzed various research results we have recently acquired. And this study gained the following results: First, regarding the areas of adapted physical activity that can apply Q methodology, this study implies it can be appropriate to psychological specification, research for discovering hypotheses, research for verifying effects, or the expansion of research subjects. Second, in adapted physical activity, Q methodology will contribute to exploring various needs or expectations of adapted physical activity or conflicts. It is expected that this research will provide the ground to approach more scientifically to subjectivity related with the mankind value or the others` attitudes towards the disabled, one of the crucial research areas dealt with in adapted physical activity, or the beliefs of disability-related workers. And it is hoped that in the research of adapted physical activity, this kind of subjectivity research will be performed more often afterwards.
