John Amos comenius was one of the leading Protestant theologians of the seventeenth century. He was influenced by the theological thoughts and tendencies of the pre and post seventeenth century. Moreover, his practical religious life and experience were particularly shaped by his own theology. He did not write many theological tracts, but he was a well-known theologian and interpreter of the Bible. He was engaged in improving the spiritual and material conditions of all human beings. Most of his writings mad extensive use of the biblical or theological expressions and terms.
Even though Comenius did not publish many theological writings, the sole characteristics and elements of his theology have been reflected in a number of his pedagogical books. His theology was the absolute or authoritative source of his pedagogical thoughts, particularly, the realization of human peace in the world. His theological metaphysics and scope aimed ar establishing the integration and foundation of his peaceful pedagogy In this context, this study. first of all, deals with his theological thoughts in relation to ideas of God, man and nature. Secondly it explores a pedagogical core for human peace in terms of his theological context.
