『삼국유사(三國遺事)』 「기이(紀異)」편(篇) <성덕왕(聖德王)>조(條)의 서술(敍述) 의도 -<수로부인(水路夫人)>條의미 고구(考究)의 단초 마련을 전제로- = The writing intention of clause <Seongdukwang(聖德王)> in chapter 「Kiyi(紀異)」, 『Samgukyusa(三國遺事)』

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 기이 편을 구성적 측면에서 접근하여, 공히 성덕왕대를 다루고 있는 <성덕왕>조와 <수로부인>조가 내용적으로 연관이 깊을 것이라는 전제로, 이 중 <성덕왕>조의 의미를 분석하여 <수로부인>조 해석의 단초를 마련하였다. 두 조목처럼 공히 무열왕대를 다루고 있으며 유사한 구조를 취하고 있는 <김유신>조와 <태종춘추공>조를 살펴보면, <태종춘추공>조가 삼국 통일이라는 역사적 과업을 수행한 과정을 제시하고, <김유신>조는 그 과업을 주도적으로 수행한 김유신의 신이한 면모를 부각시킨다. 두 조목이 내용을 공유하면서, 군주의 신이한 면모보다는 유력한 인물의 신이한 면모가 부각되는 것이다. 이러한 구조는 <성덕왕>조와 <수로부인>조에 대입할 수 있다. 지금까지 <성덕왕>조는 구휼과 덕화의 측면에서 해석되었다. 그러나<성덕왕>조는 불안한 지지기반을 해소하고 왕권을 강화했으며, 갈등 관계에 놓여 있는 주변국과의 문제를 해결하기 위한 종교적 실천을 보였고, 왕권의 제도적 안착을 위해 노력했다는 기록을 담고 있다. 따라서 <수로부인>조는 <성덕왕>조에서 제시하는바, 성덕왕대가 왕권 강화와 국경 정비와 같은 국가적 업적을 이룩하는 과정에서 순정공과 수로부인이 보여준 신이한 면모를 기록했을 가능성이 높은 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis focused on the organization and formation of chapter Kiyi(紀異) , Samgukyusa(三國遺事). And then paid attention to meaning and concerning between the clause <Seongdukwang(聖德王)> and the clause <Surobuin(水路夫人)>, because these two clauses are based on the same period, the 33th King of Silla(新羅), Seongduk-wang. As a result, there were clues in <Seongdukwang> which can guess the meaning of <Surobuin>. Clues could be found in the three points. First, clause <Seongdukwang> commemorate the memory of the 29th King of Silla, Muyeol-wang(武烈王), was named Kim Chunchu (金春秋). It means that clause <Seongdukwang> wanted to describe Seongduk-wang strengthened the absolute authority of the king, like Muyeol-wang. Second, clause <Seongdukwang> emphasized that Seongduk-wang was held the Buddhist religious rituals for resolving conflicts thereamong marginal states. It means that clause <Seongdukwang> wanted to describe Seongduk-wang tried his best to stabilize the Silla. Third, clause <Seongdukwang> mentioned that Seongduk-wang made a highest public position Sijung(侍中), even though it is different from the truth. It also means that clause <Seongdukwang> wanted to describe Seongduk-wang strengthened the absolute authority of the king, because Sijung symbolized the power of king. So, by going through clause <Seongdukwang>, this thesis arrived at a conclusion that clause <Seongdukwang> was written for describing Seongduk-wang as a powerful king and Sills as a safe country. Therefore <Surobuin> sould be understood in the same vein.
