This study was to develop and evaluate CPR(cardiopulmanary resuscitation) education program which will helpful and can be utilized directly on first line spot for elementary school children.
CPR education consisted of 2 times and each subject was following. 1st was theory education. 2nd was skill practice. All developed education contents consisted cartons to arouse interest in education.
In the evaluation. subjects were 401 elementary school children. 66.3% of subjects never heard CPR education, 7.5% were experience of CPR education. The most difficult education contents were mouth-to-mouth ventilation and chest compression. Most subjects answered to 'yes' a usefulness, appropriateness and satisfaction of education in evaluation item.
