      As beauty services popularize and further has become a common way of life, the possibility of expanding the dimension of beauty services to ‘healing’ is also increasing. Therefore, this study aims to introduce the Korean Ayurveda psychological type, as a healing tool that consists of a process that helps to live a healthy and happy life by balancing the mind and body and further to prove the possibility of maximization of beauty healing. To achieve the purpose of the study, the relationship was hughlighted between participation motivation and the Korean Ayurveda psychological type test for users of the Beauty Healing Center. Participation motivation indicates the power for making decisions to achieve goals that one emphasizes on. Participation motivation occurs according to internal and external conditions and is usually formed by internal motivations such as positive self-efficacy rather than external motivations. The sub-element of participation motivation was investigated as activity orientation, learning orientation, and goal orientation The result of the study analysis on the influence of Korean Ayurveda psychological type on participation motivation, the survey subjects had both activity-oriented and goal-oriented participation motivations. In terms of learning orientation, the Pita-type and Kappa-type had learning-oriented participation motivation, whereas the Bata-type had no learning-oriented participation motivation. Thus, the study identified that there is a difference in affecting the motivation for participation by type through the Korean Ayurvedic psychological type. This study suggests that the beauty industry participant further understand Korean Ayurvedic psychological type and develop personal counseling skills to lead the beauty industry to the dimension of beauty healing and create high added value.
