The purpose of the present study was to analyze the major topics in Korean special education intervention. 125 theses were chosen by predetermined 5 criteria. These topics were divided into 3 parts: Interventions based on specific theories, Interventions for special education criteria, and Interventions focused upon dependent variables. In order to analyze these data, descriptive analyses were conducted. Results were as follows: First, behavior modification, peer tutoring, and program for basic academic skills in each part were most frequent. Second, critical issues in Korean special education intervention were provided, surveying major theses about behavior modification, peer tutoring, and program for basic academic skills. Supplementary results were discussed in the context of further research.
