통합교육의 최근 이슈와 동향 = The recent issues and trends of inclusive education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is to comprehend the recent issues and trends of inclusive education. First of all, the recent need of inclusive education are analysed and whether these needs is valid or nor is reviewed. On the basis of them, the five issues of inclusive education are reviewed. First, is inclusive education effective on educational products? Second, whether inclusive education has moral and social equity or not? Third, is dual educational system(separate educational system) wrong? Fourth, can regular classroom teachers teach general students and exceptional students together or all? Fifth, is there no any more the speciality in the special education? etc. In next, the recent trend of inclusive education of U.S.A. and U.K are reviewed. The four unique trends of U.S.A. and the three of U.K. are proposed. In conclusion, the recent trend of inclusive education of our country are reviewed. First, the education of understanding exceptional students is being increased nationwide rapidly. Second, the management and control of inclusive classrooms is being strengthened. Third, the learning environment of exceptional students in regular classroon is being renovated nationwide.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 통합교육에 대한 최근의 이슈와 동향을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행된 것이다. 우선 본 논문은 통합교육에 대한 최근의 요구를 분석하고, 이런 요구들이 타당한 것이지를 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 통합교육에 대한 5가지 이슈들을 검토하였는데 첫째, 통합교육은 교육적 산출에 대한 효과가 있는가? 둘째, 통합교육은 도덕적 정당성을 갖는가? 셋째, 이중 교육체제(분리교육)은 나쁜 것인가? 넷째, 교사들은 일반 학생과 장애 학생을 모두 잘 가르칠 수 있는가?, 다섯째, 특수교육의 전문성은 더 이상 필요 없는가? 등이다. 이어서 미국과 영국의 최근 동향을 검토하였으며, 미국의 경우는 네 가지, 영국의 경우는 세 가지 중요한 동향을 살펴보았다. 결론으로 우리나라 통합교육의 동향을 살펴보았는데 세 가지로 중요한 동향을 분석하였다. 첫째는 장애학생에 대한 이해 교육이 확대되고 있는 점, 둘째는 통합학급 운영관리를 강화하고 있다는 점, 셋째는 일반학교의 장애 학생 을 위한 학습 환경 조성에 노력하고 있다 점 등을 들 수 있었다.
