      The goal of this study is to provide an in depth consideration of German dance education, and the guidelines of specializing the dance in higher education.
      Tanztheather emerged as distinct form in the second half of twentieth century through the work of stoveral German choreoeaphers. Pina Bausch is generally considered the most influential and creative proponent of this new form, but the terms "Tanztheater" was feist used by Rudolf von Laban as a way to describe his choric dance rituals of that time. Kurt looss was to use the term tanztheather in a fomal and consistent manner. He sought a new term to differentiate worths such as "The Creen table" from the traditional story ballets.
      Inspired by Rudolf von Laban's teaching, looss was concerned with pedagogical questions very early in his career, During of 1925 looss and feeder had established the Westphalian Academy of Movement, Speech, and Music. In 1927 the school move to Essen. The Folkwang school is conceived as a school for music, dance, speech, also including theather, art history and criticism. The curriculum also included eukinetics(analysis and practice of expressive dynamics), choreutics, improvisation, and composition, dance notation, kinetoeaphy, music, anatomy, dance history, and other supplementary course. The methode and pedagogic aims of the school are purely artistic-incoporating the wide range of contemporary dance disciplines and above all the development Rudo? von Laban'movement teachings.
