청각장애유아와 건청유아 어머니의 유아용 그림 동화책 개발에 대한 요구도 비교 = The Comparison on Needs between Mothers of Young Deaf Children and Young Normal Children to Develop Story Books

국문 초록 (Abstract)

영유아기의 그림 동화책 활용은 문해능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 또한 그림 동화책은 부모와 유아가 함께 상호작용할 수 있는 교육적 매체이다. 청각장애유아의 문해능력 향상을 위한 조기교육 매체로 그림 동화책이 부모와 함께 활용되어야 하므로, 본 연구에서는 청각장애유아 어머니 286명과 건청유아 어머니 376명을 대상으로 청각장애유아용 그림 동화책 개발을 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 청각장애와 건청유아의 어머니는 자신의 유아에게 그림 동화책을 읽어주는 목적 등과 같은 실태에서 차이가 나타났으며, 또한 개발하고자 하는 그림 동화책의 내용, 형식, 그리고 주제 등에서도 차이가 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 그림 동화책의 활용에 있어서 청각장애유아의 어머니는 건청유아의 어머니와는 다른 요구가 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 청각장애유아용 그림 동화책은 일반유아와는 달리 정서적 안정과 도덕성 발달 등과 같은 일반적인 목적과 함께 언어발달에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 그림 동화책이 개발되어야 함을 시사점으로 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The benefits of story books for young children may focused into effective basic literacy and stable psychological and emotional development. The purpose of this study was to compare the needs between the mothers for the young deaf children and the young normal children to develop story books. There are many story books for normal young children, however, there is not any story books for the young deaf children in South Korea. Two hundred and eighty six mothers for the young deaf children and mothers for young normal children participated for this study. Two-way ANOVA and Chi-square were utilized to analyze the situation, needs, and contents of story books based on two variables such as different school levels such as deaf and normal, and experiences of participation at the early education environments. The results of this study were followed. (a) The two groups such as the mothers between young deaf children and young normal children indicated different situation to use the story books. (b) Even though the two group mothers had different attitudes toward development of the story books, the two group mothers presented high needs to develop the story books for young deaf children or young normal children. And, (c) the viewpoints such as forms, contents, arranging ages, and etc were suggested different attitudes between the tow groups mothers.
