해체주의적 접근을 통한 미술의상 연구 = A Study on Art Wear via Deconstruction Approach

This study consists of theoretical background by documentary research and work production by a deconstruction approach, to see the characteristic of deconstruction design and of deconstruction study, to examine the characteristic of deconstruction design and of deconstruction style demonstrated on the costume. Total 8 pieces of real works with the central reciprocal-text by the way of expression of deconstruction costume style were produced. These consists of one-piece of dress, vest, jacket, and skirt. The main color white and black and sub-color red, yellow, blue, green, etc, vivid color and materials are velvet, satin cotton tips, and copper wire. Such the design as left-right asymmetric form by matching velvet and satin, de-central form of vest, cloth-breaking by cutting sleeves & formal exaggeration, etc. was applied. And trying unexpected material cotton tips with copper wire for giving various changes or hanging it with bead thread and other various techniques were applied for the production of deconstruction art wear. This Study brought to a conclusion form the above-said studying as follows. First, as the concept of studying the characteristics of deconstruction fashion as well as examining the concept of deconstruction & design, it was confirmed, deconstruction design through open mind greatly contribute to the value and development of design by raising up a different design in essence from the conventional one. Second, in deconstruction costume style, the reciprocal text presents the possibility of a creative design such as free of material, mixing, and comparison deviating from the conventional ideal. Third it is of a new and peculiar composition through raising up jacket, one-piece of dress, vest, and skirt with a new compositon of pattern for the production of work. Fourth, it`s possible to approach a creative design via such the material as breaking from the conventional common sense, herby suggesting the possibility of developing a new costume design in its from and composition. As the aboves, it is suggestive that deconstruction thought in costume design should free itself from an absolute value or a fixed idea and new ways. Therefore, it is considered that ceaseless making studies to add more possibility to this paradigm should render a contribution, to the current fashion industry.
