    This study for korean local public servants aims to get the method of job stress release and to analysis the difference or the level of job stressors between demographic characteristicts.
    This study define the job stress as 'The threatening job enviromental charecteristics for korean local public servants' that is composed of seven factors what is the organization-merit rating, the overwork, the job-culture, the human-relations, the job-difficulty, the job-discretion, the job-anxiety.
    This study is surved for 979 Gangwon provincial officers below the 4th grade in period between August 28th, 2006 and September 9th, 2006, and finaly analyzed for 605 officers. The t-test, ANOVA, scheffe method have been carried out with SPSS12.0 for the data analysis.
    By demograpic distribution for the object of this study is male 79.2%・female 20.8% from sex, under 30s 5.0%・under 30~40s 38.2%・under 40~50s 42.1%・older than 50s from age, below high school graduate 14.7%・college graduate 18.2%・university graduate 15.0%・graduate school 9.6% from educational background, under 5s 6.9%・ under 5~10s 14.0%・under 10~15s 27.1%・under 15~20s・older than 20s 33.7% from the period of service, general 50.7%・technical 37.4%・special 2.0%・general-aid 7.4%・ agreement 2.5% from class, 4th 2.6%・5th 16.9%・6th 32.2%・7th 31.9%・below 8th 16.4% from degree.
    From the result in the analysis of this study, I would like to propose the method of job stress release, in the organization-merit rating factor the most stressful under 30~40s officers who are advencing the 7th grade to the 6th grade need to fair and reasonable evaluation for service and adjustment, in the overwork factor the most stressful officers who are the shotter period of service and the low grade and the young, need to operat mentoring system in the overwork factor, in the overwork factor and the job-discretion the most stressful officers who are the 6th grade need to decrease work-volum and to distribute work efficiently, in the job-culture factor, the most stressful officers who are the special need to interest of command, in the job-anxiety the most stressful officers who are the agreement need to change the regular.
    This study for a office unit of local public servant that is measured of the job stress and analysized the result of it, I hope to be used in local servant's office unit from proposal for method of job stress release.
