국문 초록 (Abstract)

<문학 교육을 위한 백신애 소설세계의 인지론적 연구>


이 논문은 일제강점기 한국 여성소설의 문화 사회적 교육의 가치를 확장하는 차원에서, 식민지 소외된 현실에서 불꽃같은 삶을 살았던 백신애의 소설세계를 인지론적 시각으로 접근하여 다양한 실존의식을 해명하고자 하였다.
백신애의 소설 ｢꺼래이」,「적빈」등에서는 생존의 선형적 인지구성으로 역사의식을 제공하고 있으며, 「나의 어머니」,「광인수기」등에서는 갈등의 대립적 인지구성으로 유기적인 사회의식을 환기하고 있고, 「아름다운 노을」,「혼명에서」에서는 성장의 나선적 인지구성을 통하여 역동적 연대의식을 잘 보여주고 있다.
이러한 분석을 21세기 한국 문학 교육에 적용하면, 교수자는 백신애 소설 텍스트에 제시된 생존과 갈등 그리고 성장의 구체적 경험으로 환기되는 역사의식, 사회의식, 연대의식 등의 실존의식을 제시함으로써 학습자로 하여금 21세기 한국 사회 현실을 돌아보게끔 도움을 줄 수 있게 될 것이다. 즉, 학습자로 하여금 생존의 가치인 역사의식의 환기로 포스트모더니즘 시대 삶의 목적과 방향성을 반성하게끔 하고, 유기적인 사회의식을 제공함으로써 다문화 시대에 적합한 문화의 상대주의를 수용하는 건전한 시민의식을 성찰하게끔 할 뿐만 아니라 역동적 연대의식의 고취로 삶의 진정한 가치를 실천하려는 의지를 강화할 수 있게 된다.
이처럼 백신애 소설 세계에 드러난 역동적인 인지구성으로 환기되는 다양한 실존의식을 통하여 교수자는 학습자 중심의 은유적 시각으로 작가의 실천적 삶과 소통하는 기회를 제공할 수 있다. 소외된 타자들의 경험을 빛과 어둠의 조화로 확장시킨 백신애 소설 언어의 확장을 통하여 학습자는 기층문화의 생명력으로 그로테스크한 현실을 딛고 일어서는 치열한 삶의 희망을 보여준 작가의 실천적 삶의 가치로 지금 여기 삶을 성찰할 수 있게 될 것이다.
일제강점기 훼손된 삶의 회복을 꾀한 백신애 소설세계의 역동적인 인지구성과 다양한 실존의식을 다각적으로 분석한 본 논문은 학습자로 하여금 작가의 실천적 삶과 소통하는 거리에서 차갑게 얼어붙은 우리의 현실을 반성하는데 도움을 줌으로써 백신애 소설 언어를 문화 사회적 교육의 가치로 확장하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다 할 것이다.

Cognitive study on the world of Sinae Paik' novels in terms of literary education

The purpose of this study is to analyze various existence consciousness revealed in Sinae Paik's novels in the period of Japanese colonial rule with the cognitive perspective, and based on the results of analysis, to extend its value to literary education.
In the text of her novels, she provided historical consciousness by showing linear cognitive configuration of survival in "Kkeoraeyi(Korean)" and "Jukbin(The Poors)", organic social consciousness by showing antagonistic cognitive configuration of conflict in "My Mother" and "Essay of Madman", and dynamic consciousness of solidarity by showing spiral cognitive configuration of growth in "Beautiful Sunset" and "In Kunming".
Above result implies that these existence consciousness would be helpful for learner to reflect the purpose and direction of life in post-modern times, to awake cultural relativism suitable for multi-cultural society, and to strengthen will of self-actualization. In short, by utilizing these results of analyze on cultural social education, the dynamic cognitive configuration and various existence consciousness revealed in the text of her novels is highly useful for modern Korean literary education. This study helps us to reflect the reality of our society and to extend the value of her novels to cultural and social education.
