Based on such results of this study, the implications and suggestions can be made as follows.
First, It is necessary to take measure to encourage the participation of volunteers in other departments other than the social welfare students to encourage and sustain the volunteer activities. As a result of this study, the motivation and continuity of volunteering activities of students in port logistics department were lower than those of social welfare students. Therefore, university should actively and realistically support volunteering activities of university students and increase their willingness to continue.
Second, Measures are needed to encourage older students to participate in volunteer activities and encourage their continued commitment. The results of this study suggest that older students are less willing to continue their volunteer activities, so older students need to be socially interested and support the school / government so that they can continue their volunteer activities.
Third, Significant changes are needed in the voluntary agency. Providing education about volunteer activities has a very significant effect on the volunteer motivation and sustainability of university students. Therefore, it is necessary to change from the traditional volunteer organizations that demand voluntary sacrifice and service of volunteers so as to provide realistic management of volunteers.
