Brine, as a secondary refrigerant, is a heat medium which transmits heat as a form of sensible heat. Brine has widely been used in icemanufactories, air conditioning, and other fields of industry. However, the corrosion by contacting the existing brine solution with refrigerating parts has been the cause of reducing the life span of refrigeration system.
Accordingly, the problem of this corrosion has been the task to be solved, and the problem was broken by the appearance of NYbrine manufactured in japan.
This paper studied on the properties of NYbrine and other brines by comparing them through experiments.
