國際環境變化에 따른 南北韓 經濟協力方案 = A Study on the Economic Cooperation between Southand North Korea in Accordance with the Change in International Economic Environment

In recent days, economic situation faced by north Korea should be led to the liberalization. An internal control will be strengthened through the implementation of policy-measures in order to abolish negative effect. And various political problems in North Korea is a cause of an obstruction to the liberalization of its economy and to the economic cooperation between two Koreas.
With a view to building a people's community, economic policies concerning North Korea should be set up the view point of long-range program rather than extra-economic profits. The basic goal of the economic cooperation in Korean Peninsula is placed on the maximization of unified people's welfare with the construction of economic community.
The interchange and cooperation in the economic field of both Koreas must be consistly conducted on the basis of long-range program. In this connection Such factors should be regarded as the trend of trade, capital, cooperation in technology, integration between South and North.
In particular, economic relationship in the South and the North Korea should be aimed at maximazing the economic welfare of unified people as well as enhancing the international competitive power of unified Korea rather than the short -term benefit and commercial favor.
