발달장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스와 양육행동의 관계에서 심리적 안녕감의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Psychological Well-being on the Relationship between Parenting Stress and Parenting Behavior of Mothers of Children with Developmental Disabilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of psychological well-being on the relationships between parenting stress and parenting behavior of mothers of children with developmental disabilities. Participates were 185 mothers of children with developmental disabilities who have children attending elementary schools in Seoul and Gyeong-gi do. The results of this study were as follows; First, mothers who had high levels of parenting stress displayed lower warmth-acceptance parenting behaviors and higher rejection-restriction and permissive-nonintervention parenting behaviors. Second, mothers`` parenting stress had a significant negative effect on psychological well-being. Third, mothers who had high levels of psychological well-being displayed higher levels of warmth-acceptance parenting behaviors and lower rejection-restriction and permissive-nonintervention parenting behaviors. Fourth, the psychological well-being relationship between parenting stress and warmth -acceptance parenting behaviors were found to be completely mediated. Moreover, the psychological well-being relationship between parenting stress and rejectionrestriction and permissive-nonintervention parenting behavior in mothers of children with developmental disabilities were found to be partially mediated. This study verified the mediating effects of psychological well-being on the relationship between parenting stress and parenting behavior of mothers of children with developmental disabilities.
