제주지역 관광 연구동향에 관한 고찰 -의미연결망 분석을 중심으로- = A study on trend of Tourism Research in Jeju -based on semantic-network analysis-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Jeju National University`s Department of Tourism Development was the first to be established among Korea`s national universities in 1973. Since then, deeper studies on tourism in Jeju sparked after the establishment of tourism-related graduate schools after the year of 1990. Studies on tourism have been carried mostly focused on analysis of tourism trends. These outcomes have been very helpful for under-standing of tourism trends and policy making. Nevertheless, trend analysis studies on researches into tourism that have been carried out in Jeju are almost non-existent. Accordingly, analysis of theses related with Jeju tourism that have been published in Jeju is in need. Moreover, it is considered that reviewing accumulated outcomes of studies based on objective standards is meaningful. In the following study, topics and objects of previous studies on Jeju tourism are to be looked into, using 349 theses -for degrees and academic journals-related with Jeju tourism that were published in Jeju from 1982 to 2010. To this end, through contents analysis and semantic-network analysis, overall study trends in each period up to this date are to be presented.
