      Unpredictable market needs strongly require for manufacturing industries to produce quality products satisfying cost and time constraints. The maker of machine tools have a several needs for enhancement of manufacturing companies. The needs are high functionality and intelligent of machine tools and integrated operation solution and network connection of machine tools etc. Because the before mentioned needs, the RMC(Reconfigurable Manufacturing Cell) and Integrated Operation system are the near future trend of machine tools industry. But the RMC market share of Korean machine tools companies is less then 3% of the world market size. To cope with such serious situation, the Korean government project named "Development of Integrated Operation Technology for Autonomous Reconfigurable Production System" is running. In this paper, we introduce this project and predict the future.
