This study examines the Korean cultural industry which is the major competitive factor of 'Korean Wave' with diamond model of Michael Porter. This study shows that the aggressive niche market strategy of Korean company and competitive market environment among cultural companies such as the terrestrial broadcasting companies are major competitive edges as firm strategy and structure factor in diamond model. And lots of manpower related in cultural industry and many traditional and cultural assets in Korea apply to the factor condition in diamond model. As the demand condition, the dynamic Korean people and growth in demand of the Asian broadcasting program contribute to 'Korean Wave'. Finally, the highly developed communication infrastructure such as broadband plays a important role in 'Korean Wave' as the related and supporting industries.
