북한이탈 청소년의 인터넷 활용 유형에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Pattern of Internet Usage among North Korean Adolescent Refugees in South Korea: Focused on the Effect of Social Support System(Parents, Teachers, Friends)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 북한에서는 인터넷이라는 도구를 전혀 활용할 수 없었던 북한이탈 청소년들이 그들을 둘러싼 남한에서의 사회적 지지체계(부모, 교사, 교우와의 유대관계)가 그 개인의 인터넷 활용 유형에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하여 북한이탈청소년의 건전한 인터넷 활용을 도모하고자 하였다. 본 연구 조사는 북한이탈청소년들이 집중적으로 거주하는 서울, 인천, 경기 지역사회복지관, 하나센터, 대안학교, 북한이주자지원센터를 활용하는 14세부터 만25세 미만의 북한이탈 청소년 300명을 대상으로 2011년 2월～4월까지 실행하였다. 연구결과, 북한이탈 청소년이 부모⋅교사⋅교우와의 유대(지지)가 많을수록 인터넷 정보형을, 적을수록 인터넷 오락형을 추구하였다. 또한 친구와의 유대가 많을수록 인터넷 관계형을 지향하였다. 하지만 부모⋅교사와의 유대의 많고 적음은 관계형에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 파악되었다. 논의 및 함의에서는 북한이탈청소년의 주 양육자가 자녀의 인터넷 활용에 대해 어떻게 이해하고 접근해야 할 것인가, 그리고 교사 및 교우 체계가 북한이탈 청소년의 인터넷 활용에 미칠 수 있는 영향 등을 다루었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of various type of social capital on the pattern of internet use among North Korean adolescent refugees. This survey was conducted on 300 North Korean adolescent refugees living in Seoul, Incheon, and KyoungGi Province during from Feb. to April, 2011.. Their age was between 14 and 24. The analyses method was structural equation model. The patterns of internet usage were
'relationship-oriented usage', ''information-oriented usage', and 'pastime-oriented usage'. The types of social support were 'tie-to parents', 'tie-to-teachers' and 'tie-to-friends'. The result revealed that 'much more tie-to parents', 'much more tie-to-teachers', 'much more tie-to-friends' affected 'information-oriented usage'. But 'less tie-to parents', 'less tie-to-teachers, and 'less tie-to-friends' affected 'pastime-oriented use'. Finally, important playing role of parents, teachers and friends as social supporter was indicated and discussed.
