자전거 이용 활성화에 관한 연구 = The Plans to Activate on Use of Bicyle

As the human society being developed, the pollution of the environment gave negative effect on human life. In Korea, because of the serious traffic problem, pollution caused by cars has become a big issue. In environmental aspect, one solution could be the bicycle-the green mode of transportation. The bicycle could be the substitution for cars, and there should be much more practical studies on this subject.
This study is to examine the non-bike users unrevealed will to ride bicycle, and the behavior of the bicycle user. This study will encourage the usage of the bicycle.
This study used judgment sampling. This study had extracted the population from priority 12 listed area, which will be under-constructed. And among that area extracted total of 240 people, 20 from each area, over middle school aged and using the overpopulated subway.
The reliability of the questionnaire was ranging from .626-.731 and the validity of the questionnaire was tested confirmatory factor analytic technique. Data were analyzed using
frequency analysis and t-test.
Results obtained from this research are as follow:
First, bike user groups contentmenent should grow more.
Second, at the same time, the car traffic hold down policy should be preceded.
Third, recent objective of using vehicle have to overcome the different direction of the policy.
Fourth, to reduce the bicycle accident the safety facilities have to be secured, and the standards of the institutional aspect should be chanced.
