새로 발견된 김한계,배임 조사문서朝謝文書와 조선초기 오품이하 고신告身의 변천 = Josa documents issued to Kim Hangyeo and Bae Im that have been found in addition recently and the change of an appointment of low-level officials under grade fifth Pum during the early Joseon Dynasty

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There have been three items of Josa documents recently discovered. Josa documents only existed during the late Goryeo and early Joseon Dynasty years, and over the years the academia had various opinions on what the documents are. The additional discovery of Josa documents are expected to progress academic discourse as the research on the era of late Goryeo and early Joseon Dynasty had to rely only on government records such as Silok.
Two items of Josa documents issued to Kim Hangyeo are those of a Gocheop style issued by the Ministry of Personnel to 6th Pum civil officers, while those issued to Bae Im are documents issued to the same person on the same day as the existing Josa documents. On the same day, the 7th Pum officers were issued a Hacheop style document, while 6th Pum officers were is sued a Pyeongcheop style document, which has been verified.
Moreover, the paper reviews the identity of appointments of low-level officers that are of grade 5th Pum or lower during the early Joseon Dynasty before the appointment of low-level officials became well established. Josa documents issued during the early Joseon Dynasty were in themselves an official appointment document. They went through a series of systemic evolutions in each era and became low-level officers of 5th Pum or lower in the Gyeongguk Daejeon system. This paper verifies this based on the articles recorded in the Silok and the original copies of the ancient documents.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 조선초기 조사문서 3점이 추가로 발견되었다. 조사문서는 고려말과 조선초에만 존재하였던 문서로서 그동안 학계에서는 이 문서의 정체성을 두고 여러 견해가 제기되었다. 실록 등 관찬자료에 의존할 수밖에 없는 고려말과 조선초기 연구에 있어서 새로운 조사문서의발견은 학술적 논의를 진전시켜줄 것으로 기대된다.
김한계에게 발급된 조사문서 2점은 6품직 문관에게 이조에서 발급한 고첩 양식의 조사문서이고, 배임에게 발급된 조사문서는 기존에알려져 있던 조사문서와 같은 날짜에 동일인에게 발급된 문서이다.
50 ∙ 국학연구 Vol.32 같은 날짜에 7품관에게는 하첩 양식의 문서를 발급하고, 6품관에게는평첩 양식의 문서를 발급한 사실이 확인되었다.
나아가 『경국대전』의 ‘문무관 오품이하 고신’이 정착되기 이전의 조선초기 오품이하 고신의 실체에 대하여 재고해 보았다. 조선초기에 발급된조사문서는 그 자체로서 관원 임명문서였고, 시기별로 몇 차례 제도적변천을 거쳐 『경국대전』 체제의 오품이하 고신으로 발전하였다. 본고에서는 원본 고문서와 실록 기사를 근거로 이 사실을 검증하였다.
