신문활용교육(NIE) 중심의 내러티브 수업 개발 = A Study on the Development of the Narrative-based Curriculum Model through Newspaper in Education(NIE): A Case Study on Business Administration

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구를 통해 신문활용교육(Newspaper in Education)의 가치를 이해하고, 대학교육에 접목시키는 교수안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌분석을 통하여 신문활용교육의 발전과 현황을 조사하였다. 그 이후 내러티브 교과과정의 특성과 신문활용교육의 연계점을 모색하고 그것을 토대로 비서학 전공자들에게 활용가능한 교수안을 제안, 설명하였다.
신문활용교육의 특징은 ‘살아있는 교과서’라 불리우는 기사의 실재성과 신뢰성를 기반으로 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고력, 창의력의 신장을 촉진한다는 점이다. 신문기사는 그 자체로 내러티브적 특징을 내포하고 있다. 그 요소들이 바로 등장인물(대상), 갈등, 플롯(이야기들의 집합), 메시지(주제)다. 이를 활용하여 경험과 지식의 상호교환을 강조하는 내러티브 교육과정안을 경영학 교과목을 대상으로 개발하였다.
본 연구를 통하여 비서교육의 다양한 교육매체적용을 시도하는 교육공학적 관점의 발전과 교수법의 공유를 통한 교육의 질 향상에 기여할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to find out the value of newspaper in education(NIE) for university students, and to develop a narrative-based curriculum model.
A literature review explains the development of NIE program so far and its various cases for middle and high school students. The researcher then reviewed characteristics of the narrative-based curriculum and tried to link the curriculum and NIE to develop a customized curriculum for "Business Management" curriculum model.
The value of NIE is to improve communicative capability, critical thinking, and creativity from reality and reliability of news articles called "Living Textbook". News articles contain the narrative characteristics themselves. These are character(object), conflict, plot(stories), and message(theme). The researcher then developed the narrative-based curriculum emphasizing the interchange of experiences and subject-based knowledge.
I expect this study can expand teaching methods in education for office professionals as well as growing educational technology in this area.
