지적장애 아동 및 청소년을 위한 실행기능향상 애플리케이션 ‘YESS’의 효과성 검증: 학교훈련 기반 예비연구 = Efficacy of YESS Program in Improving Executive Function for Children and Adolescent with Intellectual Disability: A preliminary research based on school training

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지적장애(Intellectual Disability)로 진단된 아동·청소년은 작업기억, 계획력, 억제력 및 인지적 유연성을 포함한 실행기능에 상당한 결함을 보이며, 이는 일상생활, 학업, 대인관계 등 다양한 적응영역에서의 어려움을 초래한다. 본 연구에서는 지적장애 아동·청소년의 실행기능 향상을 위한 앱 기반 훈련 프로그램 ’YESS’를 개발하고, 학교 세팅에서 진행되는 훈련이 실행기능 향상에 효과가 있는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해, 연구 참가기준을 충족한 42명의 아동·청소년을 훈련집단과 대기집단에 무선할당 하고, 약 55일 동안 학교에서 앱 기반 훈련을 실시하였다. 훈련 전후로 아동의 4가지 실행기능 영역을 측정하는 인지검사와 부모와 교사를 대상으로 부모 양육스트레스, 건강관련 삶의 질, 집행기능 곤란, 교사 직무 스트레스를 평가하는 자기보고식 설문지를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 훈련 후 훈련집단이 대기집단에 비해 계획력 과제 수행이 유의미하게 증가하였고 교사가 보고한 직무소진에서 유의미한 감소를 나타냈다. 한편, 다른 3 영역의 아동 인지과제와 부모 및 교사 설문에서는 유의미한 변화가 관찰되지 않았다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 앱 기반 실행기능 훈련 효과성에 대한 연구적 함의와 함께 본 연구의 한계 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
