This study aimed to examine the structural differences in the relationship between parental social support and perceived athletic performance among Taekwondo student-athletes according to their level of self-efficacy. A total of 273 Taekwondo student-athletes participated in the survey, and the collected data were analyzed based on the objectives of the study. The results revealed that parental social support had a significant positive effect on perceived athletic performance in the high self-efficacy group, whereas no statistically significant effect was found in the low self-efficacy group. These findings suggest that the effectiveness of parental support varies depending on the athlete's level of self-efficacy, highlighting the need for tailored support strategies that consider the psychological characteristics of student-athletes.
