개정 교육과정에 따른 수학 교과서 개발과 교사의 전문성 개발의 과제

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explores the issues regarding the development of mathematics textbooks and the professional development of teachers to reflect the new mathematics curriculum and explore successful ways of classroom reform. Considering that a new curriculum of mathematics textbooks is already in development, the study discusses the main issues of creatively implementing the foundational beliefs of the new curriculum in a non-conformist way, organizing the content and designing teaching methods to elicit mathematical thinking from the students, and designing a set of criteria to evaluate the textbooks. Regarding the direction of the new mathematics curriculum, the professional development of mathematics teachers is essential. Two approaches in professional development, the PCK method of KICE-TLC and the inquiry approach method of Borasi and her colleagues were reviewed in terms of elements suitable to the new mathematics curriculum. On the basis of this discussion, this study makes recommendations regarding systematic methods for the professional development of mathematics teachers.
