    The purpose of this study is to investigate the inhibition of nitrification & denitrification in C public swine wastewater treatment facility and to improve the nitrogen removal efficiency by facility retrofitting. As the results of facility investigation, The pH of oxic tank is from 4 to 5. At the pH lower than pH 7, the inhibition of nitrification can be occurred. Before and after the pH control(pH 7), the average of total nitrogen concentration of effluent changed from 179 mg/L to 62 mg/L. From this result, it was found that pH control by 7 in oxic tank could increase the nitrogen removal efficiency.
