명재 윤증의 가족사에 대한 인식과 표현 양상 연구 = The research for the aspects of perception and expression on Myungje, Yeun Jeung s family history

국문 초록 (Abstract)

명재 윤증(1629(인조7)-1714(숙종40)) 관련 연구에서 명재의 부친 윤선거의 강도지사(江都之事)와 어머니의 순절은 계속 거론되는 문제이다. 하지만 이는 한 개인의 가족사가 정치이념적인 논리로 이용된 사례라고 볼 수 있다. 정작 명재의 입장에서 이들을 어떻게 평가하고 바라보았는지에 대한 연구는 제대로 이루어지지 않았고, 특히 명재가 평생 정신적으로 의지하고 살았던 누나에 대한 논의도 영성한 편이다. 이에 본고에서는 명재 윤증의 가문 여성 관련 작품과 양상에 대해 살펴보고, 그의 가족사에 대한 인식과 표현 양상에 대해 연구를 진행하였다. 살아남은 부친, 순절한 모친, 함께 살아온 누나에 대해 명재 윤증이 어떻게 평가하고 수용하였는지를 구체적인 작품을 통해 살펴보았다. 특히, 명재가 감정적인 측면에서 내면을 통제하거나 노출하는 양상이 갖는 특징과 의미를 고찰하였다. 당대 정치 세력 사이에서 이루어진 명재 부친의 살아남음과 모친의 순절에 대한 평가는 17세기에 더욱 강화되는 의리 및 열절(烈節)에 대한 인식과 관련된다. 하지만 명재가 자신의 부친, 모친, 누나의 삶과 죽음을 바라보는 개인적인 입장은 당대 이념적인 기준으로만으로 판단하기 어려운 측면이 있다. 명재의 가족사에 대한 인식은 당대 정치·이념적인 부분에서는 포착되지 않았던, 명재 개인의 상처와 내면의 슬픔을 감정의 통제와 노출이라는 이중적인 표현 양상으로 드러내고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the research of Myungje Yunjeung, one of the big issues is his father s activity (Gangdozisa) and his mother s dying for loyalty. This is the example that a family s history was utilized for political ideology. Yet there is no research how Myungje himself looked at this issue. Even worse there is very few research on his sister who Myungje soulfully depended on in his whole life. This research studied on Myungje s women family related literature and reviewed on his perception and expressions on his family. By concretely studying Myungje s literatures, we can
understand Myungje s evaluation and acceptance on a survived father, a dead mother and a contemporary sister. Escpecially, this research contemplates the characteristics and meaning when Myungje controled or revealed his inner mind in the emotional aspects. The evaluation between political forces on Myungje s family affairs such as a survived father and dead mother was related on 17th century s recognition of the reinforced loyalty and chastity. Yet,
Myungje s personal position on his family s life and death was understood only by the contemporary recognition. Myungje s perception on his family history was not easily captured from the political and ideological point of view, but captured from his control or reveal of his inner mind in the emotional aspects.
