교육의 잃어버린 차원들 = The lost Dimension in Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Korean Philosophy of Education Society had held the spring symposium 2012 with the theme, The Lost Dimension in Education. This article is the presentative lecture of that theme. The Korean Education, structured as nation centered, career centered, quantitative evaluation centered, and relative competition centered, in summary, materialistic oriented, has performed well the initiative role of national growth. However, in this process, the Korean education has become among other things the two characteristics. First, it has lost the nature of education and was ruled by the heteronatural things. Second, the school is functioning to the structural non-education and the structural violence-education. So efforts to solve problems have produced a huge private market of education and education became the maid of politics. So we have lost in our education the human, personal, spiritual education, and the autonomy of education. As a whole, we have lost the ability to educate the growing generation to be. We replaced it to a multi-dimensional education to have. Therefore, the work to regain the lost dimension of education is to reform and to establish the education in its fundamentals.
