      The aim of this paper was to examine and describe the role of the Revised national curriculum 2015 in secondary Chinese character textbook for enhancing thinking ability. As the basis for the analysis, the relation of Chinese character education and Thinking Ability in general was looked into in the introductory part. Currently, Chinese character education was carried out the relationship that middle school and high school are closely related thinking ability. So new Chinese character education textbooks will be compiled with variety of factors that to promote thinking skills of learners. As a result, the study of development plans are as follows : First, Questions of improvement for Thinking Ability in Chinese character textbook, Second, supporting of self-directed learning, Third, curriculum-based efficient application of teaching and learning methods.
