      2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 한문과(漢文科) 교과서 개발 방향에 관한 연구의 필요성 = The Search for Desirable Directions of Course Book according to 2015 Revised Classical Chinese Curriculum

      In the acknowledge of the fact that the publication of textbook can`t be independent of the demand of various related subjects, like curriculum, academics, teachers, students and any other social groups, this thesis focuses on the demand of national curriculum on editing classical Chinese textbook, implied in the contents of the curriculum itself and specifically in Note on Editing Course Book and Qualification of Textbook Authorization by the authorities. The Education Ministry and Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation(KICE) suggest the basic concept of course book in 2015 Revised Curriculum as “Textbook as Embodiment of Curriculum”, “Textbook for Cultivating Competent Individuals with Thinking Power of Creation-Convergence and Moral Character” and “Textbook for Learners Related to Daily life and Easy to Learn.” Even though the expression of “Competent Individuals with Thinking Power of Creation-Convergence” or “Moral Character” seems repetition of “Education of Creation and Morality” in 2009 Revised Curriculum, the 2015 version consists of newly added and strengthened contents. Not only what “morality” means becomes diverse and specified, “creation” is variously defined as “the ability of creation and convergence of knowledge”, “background knowledge of humanity, society and science”, “understanding of the subject” and “thinking power of creation-convergence and insight.” Qualification of textbook authorization also shows the demand of curriculum directly. Among criterions of textbook authorization, “Teaching Method and Evaluation,” relation with daily life and improving key competencies is emphasized in 2015 Revised Curriculum. Under the main theme of today`s conference, Desirable Directions of Course Book according to 2015 Revised Classical Chinese Curriculum 2015, there are two main perspectives regarding the matter. One is a broad study of course book of Classical Chinese, and the other is practical approach of editing the course book. Most studies about Classical Chinese textbook have been categorized the latter, and studies that can be categorized the former also have been conducted via the latter approach, as you can see in today`s conference. Let`s expect today`s event will help editing and studying of Classical Chinese course book.
