수학학습장애 진단을 위한 교육과정중심측정 진전도 기울기의 대안적 산출 방안 연구 = An Alternative Way of Calculating Growth Rate in Curriculum based Measurement Math for Identifying Students with Learning Disabilities

The main purpose of this study was to examine alternative ways to calculate growth rate using CBM math. Although the fact that CBM can be administered weekly is one of the unique features, comparing to other traditional measures such as IQ test or achievement tests, such a feature would make teachers reluctant to administer CBM measures. For this reason, this study examined procedural modifications in estimating CBM slope. The results from this study showed that the odd week schedule allowed for estimating the most valid and reliable growth rate in CBM math. Implications are discussed for future research and practice.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중재반응모형을 활용하여 수학학습장애를 진단할 때 요구되는 진전도 기울기(Slope)를 효율적으로 산출할 수 있는 방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 일반적으로 진전도 기울기를 산출하기 위해서 교육과정중심측정검사 도구가 많이 활용되는데, 교육과정중심측정 검사는 기존의 다른 성취도 검사에 비해 학업성취 결과를 매주 반복해서 수집할 수 있다는 뛰어난 장점을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 현장 교사들의 입장에서는 매주 반복적으로 측정자료를 의무적으로 수집한다는 것이 교육현장의 역동적 특성으로 인해 어려울 수 있다. 또한 연구자들의 입장에서도 교육과정중심측정에 관한 최적의 측정횟수와 기간에 대한 의문은 여전히 남아있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 진전도 기울기의 효율적 산출방안을 알아보기 위해, 5주 동안 매주 측정된 교육과정중심측정 진전도 기울기와 다른 측정 스케줄에 의해서 산출된 진전도 기울기를 타당도 측면에서 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면, 수학학업성취에 대한 매주 반복측정이 어려울 경우에, 여러 가지 교육과정중심측정의 측정 스케줄 중에서 1, 3, 5주 즉 2주 간격으로 측정하는 방법이 가장 타당하고 신뢰로운 방법으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한점과 차후 진행될 연구에 관한 조언을 제시하였다.
