초등학생의 내현적 자기애, 경쟁불안, 스포츠 공격성 간의 구조적 관계 = The Structural Relationship among Covert Narcissism, Competitive Anxiety and Sports Aggression of Elementary Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural causal relationship among covert narcissism, competitive anxiety and sports aggression of elementary students, and to examine the effect of competitive anxiety on mediating effects between covert narcissism and sports aggression. The participants consisted of 439 5th and 6th grade students from eight elementary schools located in D city(male:219, female:220). Data were collected using survey. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 for exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis and by using AMOS 18.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and structure equation model analysis. The findings were as follows. First, the covert narcissism had statistically positive effect on competitive anxiety. Second, the covert narcissism had statistically positive effect on sports aggression. Third, the competitive anxiety had statistically positive effect on sports aggression. Forth, the competitive anxiety showed moderated effect partially between covert narcissism and sports aggression. The sports leaders believe that in guiding aggressive students in sporting activities, a long-term approach to reducing covert narcissism is needed while eliminating factors that increase competitive anxiety.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 스포츠 상황에서 나타날 수 있는 공격성을 긍정적인 방향으로 유도하고자 내현적 자기애와 경쟁불안이 공격성에 미치는 구조적인 인과관계를 살펴봄과 동시에 경쟁불안이 내현적 자기애와 공격성 사이에서 매개효과를 나타내는지 그 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 D광역시에 소재한 8개 초등학교의 5-6학년 학생, 총 439명(남: 219, 여: 220)으로 구성하였다. 자료는 설문지를 통해 수집되었고, SPSS 18.0으로 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석을 실시하였으며, AMOS 18.0으로 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형분석(SEM)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 초등학생의 내현적 자기애는 경쟁불안에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학생의 내현적 자기애는 스포츠 공격성에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학생의 경쟁불안은 스포츠 공격성에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등학생의 경쟁불안은 내현적 자기애가 스포츠 공격성에 미치는 영향 관계에서 부분적인 매개변인으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 스포츠 지도자는 스포츠 활동에서 공격적인 학생들을 지도할 때 단기적으로는 경쟁불안을 높이는 요인들을 제거하면서 장기적으로는 내현적 자기애 성향을 감소시키는 접근이 필요하다고 생각된다.
