라깡의 임상철학과 정신분석의 정치성 = Lacan's Clinical Philosophy and the Politics of the Psychoanalysis

The contemporary discussion on the politics of the psychoanalysis culminates in the debate about the 'interpellation theory' that was highly accentuated by Althusser and further elaborated by the philosophers like M. Foucault. This paper tries to give a critical reflection on the Butler's theory of the melancholic identification that takes again and tries to give a new perspective of the 'classical' interpellation theory. This paper also tries to provide beyond the perspective of Butler a theoretical and clinical ground of the political aspect of the Lacanian psychoanalysis in general. Butler's theory of the melancholic identification has its aim a radical criticism against the sexual essentialism based on the norm of the heterosexual practices, and advocates the homosexual practices. On that points her theory made a remarkable contribution of gender-based theory of the sexual identity,but neglected the clinical facts of the psychoanalytical contribution on that subjects. Her fallacy can be summarized as a formalistic approach and the one-sided emphasis on the homosexual practice. So this paper tries to give a Lacanian and Freudian explanation on the process of the sexuation, and to prove the political relevance of the psychoanalytical theory of the sexual identity. And this paper takes a further step, and tries to give a Lacanian perspective on the end of the psychoanalysis that can be summarize as the traverse of the phantasm, identification with the symptom and subjective destitution. Finally this paper tries to show logical and structural identity and situates Lacanian psychoanalysis in the context of the Hegel's philosophy.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정신분석의 정치성에 관한 현대의 논의는 알튀세, 푸코 등으로 이어지는 ‘주체로의 호명’ 이론과 관련해 정점에 달한다. 이 논문은 이러한 고전적 논의를 현대의 성적 본질주의에 대한 비판으로 활용한 버틀러의 멜랑콜리적 동일화 이론을 비판적으로 다시 고찰하며, 더 나아가 보다 일반적인 맥락에서 정신분석의 정치성에 대한 이론적 근거를 마련하는 것을 목표로 한다. 버틀러의 멜랑콜리적 동일화 이론은 이성애에 근거한 성적 본질주의를 비판하고 동성애를 옹호한다는 점에서 젠더적 성정체성 이론에 공헌했지만, 구체적으로 성정체성 이론을 적용하는 과정에서 실제적인 임상적 사실을 고려하지 않고 형식주의적으로 관점에서 동성애를 옹호하는 오류를 범한다. 이 논문은 이론적, 임상적 차원에서 버틀러의 이중의 부인 이론을 프로이트와 라깡적 관점에서 비판적으로 고찰한다. 이를통해 이 논문은 버틀러의 이론이 갖는 여성주의적 의미에도 불구하고 그녀의 정신분석적 성정체성 형성 이론을 넘어서지 못했으며, 동성애를 특권화하는 다른 의미의 성적 본질주의의 오류에 빠질 우려가 있음을 밝힌다. 그리고 한 걸음 더 나아가 라깡의 임상론이 갖는 정치성을 환상의 통과, 증상과의 동일화, 주체적 궁핍이라는 세 가지 관점에서 고찰한다. 정신분석의 끝은 이미 국내에서도 많이 알려진 라깡의 대표적 논제이지만, 이 논제가 왜 이론적, 임상적으로 정치적 진보성을 갖는지에 대한 치밀한 이론적 논의가 부재했다는 문제의식 하에 이 논문은 분석의 끝을 특히 새로운 주체성의 확립이라는 관점에서 해석하며 이를 라깡을 따라 주체적 궁핍으로 명명한다. 그리고 이 논문은 이러한 라깡의 설명은 헤겔이 말하는 절대자의 상태와 논리적으로 상동함을 보임으로써 헤겔의 논리학과 라깡 이론이 접목되는 지점을 보이고 헤겔주의자로서의 라깡 이론의 측면을 부각시키는 의의를 또한 갖는다.
