The Structures of reinforced concrete has been increased with rapid development of industrial society. Futhermore these reinforced concretes are easy to expose to severe corrosive environments such as sea water, contaminated water, acid rain and seashore etc.. Thus corrosion problem of inner steel bar embeded in concrete is very important in terms of safety and economical point. of view. In this study, the effect of thickness and W/C ratio(water/cement ratio) to corrosion property was investigated with electrochemical methods of both corrosion potential and impedance. Corrosion potential shifted to noble direction with increasing of thickness, however this relationship was not well agreed with increasing of W/C ratio. Although effect of W/C ratio to corrosion potential was observed in case of decreasing of thickness, its effect was more or less decreased with increasing of thickness. Liquid junction potential between inner sea water solution and at outer dried surface was increased with decreasing of W/C ratio. AC impedance between sea water solution and inner steel bar increased with increasing of thickness as well as with decreasing of W/C ratio.
