일본의 국가기구 형성에 관한 비판적 고찰 = Critical Analysis on the Formation of the State Apparatus in Japan

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this paper is to critically examine the formation of the state institutions in Japan through Yong-Duck Jung’s “The State Apparatus in Korea and Japan”(2002, Daeyoung Munhwa Publishing Press). Prof. Jung analyzed that the two state’s institutions in Korea and Japan are commonly based on Pluralism, Individualism, Elitism and Capitalism. However, this paper emphasizes that Japanese government’s apparatus are based on the Bureau-superior Model beyond 4 theories through historical approach. Therefore, the issue of Japan state apparatus should be emphasized further since individual state not only globally tend to accompany with other countries but also tend to overcome their political change, political culture, economic conditions, etc.. Especially we should not forget the characteristics of the state apparatus in Japan remaining in spite of World War Ⅱ. This result indicates that the Bureau-superior Model on the formation of the state apparatus in Japan is more comprehensive in explaining Japan government’s system.
