The European Union is a major force and the greatest market in the World, The European Union regards culture as an integral part of the European Project, The European Union politicians recognize that Europe's true identity is made up of different heritages, lIllltiple languages ani diverse artistic traditions, They also recognize the importance of culture to forge a comlDJn destiny and to reconcile identity and openness, dialogue and respect, Though, while Europe prides in its intellectual and creative past, it has failed to assess the ecooorric value of its cultural heritage and artistic creativity, The European Union has begun to take a serious view of culture as economic maasures, So, The EC Treaty protects the ECs cultural action around the following principles: - Bringing Europe's common cultural heritage to the fore while respecting the national ani regional diversity of the Member States - Encouraging co-operation between Member States and supporting their action Inthis field - Fostering cooperation ""jth third countries and ""jth relevant international
organisations - Taking into account the cultural dimension of all the actions the EC carries out under all the provisions of the EC Treaty, We can not estimate whether the FTA between Korea and the EU is good for the culture industry in Korea or not, It is inevitable that Korea can not postpone the FTA, We have to resear<:h and analyze the impact and results of FTA between Korea and the EU,
