한국 주부들의 여가 생활에 대한 실태 조사 = A Study on the Activities of Recreation of Korean Housewives

As an object of 90 Korean wemen of thirties I investigated about the realities of their ativities of the Spare time. The results are as follows:
1.Most of the housewives works about 7 hours(26.6%).
2.Because of the odd-wroks, they usually have not their own spare time(32.2%).
3.They usually can have spare time in the afternoon as they are very busy in the morning.
4.As the way of using their spare time, they take radio, television and newspaper(34.4%).
5.They usually enjoy their spare time when they are shopping, gossiping and having mutual financial association.
6.They are especially busy on holidays, and about half of them don’t take part in the recreation(56.6%).
7.They said the activities of recreation is necessary, but they spend a little money on it.
8.They con’t take part in the activities because they are busy(45.5%), but they think that they are necessary for their family.
9.They showed that if they can enjoy spae time they are going to spend their time in music appreciating, knitting, flower-making, writing and Indian-ink painting and painting. Accordingly the plan for the promotion of family life in their spare time is especially needed in order to make their family life more valuable.
