한국의 시민사회 형성과 사회운동 = The Formation of Civil Society and Social Movements in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to analyze the formation of civil society and social movements in Korea, further to suggest the interaction between the civil movement and the popular movement since 1980s. An assertion through this paper is to criticize the definition and social applications of developed western countries and to theoretically reorganize civil society theory which originated mainstream sociological tradition. It is another point that the sociological inquiry of interaction between the civil movement and the popular movement is to focus on the analysis of the actors and goals of social movements.
