사회과 지역학습에서 '지역음식'의 교재화 : 경기도 양평의 '지역음식'을 사례로 In the Case of Yangpyeng-gun Gyoungido = Materialization of 'Local Food' on Community Study in Social Studies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 양평군의 '지역음식'을 사회과 교재로 개발하기 위하여 시도한 3가자 작업 결과를 정리하였다. 첫째, 양평군을 대상으로 지역적 특성과 친환경 농업이 양평군에서 시도된 경위 그리고 지역 특산물로서 친환경 농산물과 그것을 이용한 '지역음식'을 실지 조사를 통해 파악한 것을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 양평군의 '지역음식'을 사회과의 교재로 개발하기 위한 이론적 작업으로서 음식의 교육적 의의를 밝히고 '지역음식'의 사회과 교육과의 관계를 검토하였다. 그리고 이 과정에서 '지역음식'에 대하여 "오늘날 지역사회 사람들이 생활을 새롭게 개척해가는 가운데 지역의 특성을 살려 계획적이고 체계적으로 개발한 지역 특산물을 활용하여 새롭게 만들어 낸 먹거리이다"라고 개념규정을 새롭게 시도하였다. 셋째, 교육과정을 분석하여 지역음식을 사회과 교육과정 속에 위치시키고, 이를 중심으로 초등학교 3학년 1학기의 '고장 학습'과 관련하여 교수-학습 설계를 하여 제시하였다. 음식물의 교재화는 아직까지도 교재는 뭔가 고상하고 체계적인 것이라고 생각하여 일상생활 속에서 흔히 접하는 구체적인 것들을 교재화 하는 것을 꺼리는 타부를 극복하는 하나의 시도라고 할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this studies, I considered the results of my three works which I tried the shake of materialization of 'Yangpyeng's local food' as the contents of social studies education.
First, I researched the Y angpyeng' s regional characteristics, the process of promoting pro-environment agriculture in Yangpyeng, and the pro-environment agricultural-products as a local speciality and the 'local food' which was made of using the pro-environment agricultural-products by field working.
Second, I carried out two theoretical approaches for the sake of materialization of the Yangpyeng' s local food in social studies. That is, I clarified the significance of food in education, and considered the relations local foods between social studies. In this process, I conceptualized 'local food' as the foods which is made up of the local speciality was systematically developed through the making the best use of regional characteristics in the process of community development.
Third, I located local foods in social studies' curriculum through the curriculum analysis, and accomplished teaching-learning planning of community study on the basis of local foods in elementary 3 grade social studies.
Through the materialization of food, we will get over a prejudice with which we taboo the concrete and specific thing as a teaching materials. Afterwards, it will be necessary for me to put into practice of the teaching-learning planning of community study in the 'Yangpyeng's elementary school. This practice will verify my teaching-learning planning and the results of my field-researches on Yangpyeng district.
