Premixed turbulent combustion can be regarded as a rapid chemical reaction taking place in a turbulent field. Therefore the structure of premixed turbulent flames is<br/>
influenced by both the chemical properties of the mixture and the characteristics of the turbulence. In this work. the turbulence intensity and the turbulent time scale are<br/>
controlled by the acoustic excitation with a loudspeaker. The relation between the turbulence intensity and the flame propagation velocity is indirectly indicated by the<br/>
flame position and the flame extinction is explained with the flame stretch rate.<br/>
