탈냉전기의 한일관계의 구조전환과 상호의존 = The New Foreign Policies for the 21C Korea-Japan Relations

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to analyze the changes and characteristics of Korea-Japan relations since 1996 and to examine policy direction for the early 21C good partnership of both countries, in particular for both the Korea`s MB new government and the new Naoto Kan Japanese government. There have been some theories such as history causes, U.S. causes, foreign pressures-issue connection causes, and structure conversion causes for the analysis of Korea-Japan relations. This paper adopted an interdependence causes, through coordination of the domestic and foreign pressures. The MB new government will have to make an effective good policies based on an interdependent partnership in the near future. It`s absolutely necessary to strengthen Korea-Japan-U.S. cooperation for foreign affairs including security problems, besides Korea-Japan FTA, Clean Energy Valley plan, New Economic Forum and so on.
