The purpose of this study was the development of a scale to assess child well-being of the Dual Income Family. The subjects were 517 children of the dual family consisted of 5th and 6th grade. %, Means, T-test, Pearson's r, Cronbach' α, KMO, factor analysis were used for data analysis. Four child well-being sense factors were extracted from the 32 items developed for this study. subscales were sense of child emotional well-being, satisfaction sense of child on the mother's role, satisfaction sense of child on the father's role and satisfaction sense of child on the mother's working. And the estimates of reliability for the scale was high. Cronbach'α was .88.
The practical significance of the present study lied in the development of specific instrument for the measurement of the particular aspects of child well-being of the Dual Income Family. The development of an instrument for the measurement of such variables provides the opportunity for assessing child well-being of the Dual Income Family.
