SISAC 바코드에 의한 국내 연속간행물의 입수 관리 = Accession Management for Korean Journals Using SISAC Barcode

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 SISAC 바코드와 SICI 코드를 이용함으로써 국내 학술지의 입수관리 시스템 구축에 표준화된 코드를 배정하기 위해 시행하였다. 제안한 시스템은 통제기관으로 주요한 역할을 하는 KOSISAC과 도서관 자동화 시스템 개발업체, 개별도서관, 출판사, 표준화 기구들로 조직되어 있다. 시스템은 개별 도서관이 SISAC 바코드와 ISSN 생성의 용이성과 그것들을 개별도서관이 수용하기 편리하도록 구축하였다.
연구의 결과 및 기대효과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, SISAC 바코드는 체크인 과정을 간소화하여 결론적으로 국재 학술지의 입수관리에 효율성을 높일 것이다.
둘째, SISAC 바코드와 SICI 코드는 국내 연속간행물 정보의 전자적 유통을 위한 표준화 규정 설립에 기여할 것이다.
마지막으로 SISAC 바코드는 국내 학술지 장서개발에 도움을 줄 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to assign a standardized code to the Korean journals for the purpose of employ in building an accession management system using SISAC barcode and SICI code.
The macro structures of the proposed system are KOSISAC which play a role as the control center, Vendors of Library Systems, Libraries, Publishers, and Serial Standardization Committees. The proposed system was designed in consideration of ease to use from producing ISSN and SISAC barcode to employing them in a local library.
The main conclusions and expectations are as follows:
Firstly, SISAC barcode simplified the check-in process and eventually improved the efficiency of accession management for Korean journals.
Secondly, SISAC barcode and SICI code may contribute to establish the standard for the electronic transmission of journal information.
Thirdly, SISAC barcode can be simplified the printing of the barcode, since it can be printed out using general ink jet or laser jet printers.
Finally, it can be expected that SISAC barcode may contribute in the collection development of Korean journals.
