미래형 초등통합교육과정 개정 방향 = The Direction for the Future Elementary Integrated Curriculum

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The integrated curriculum for the first and second graders in elementary school has been continuously developed for 25 years since the fourth national curriculum reform in 1981. From this developmental point of view, the future integrated curriculum for them needs to create a new curriculum area, Integrated Activities in which the current three integrated subjects(Right Life, Wise Life, Happy Life) are integrated again in one textbook. Accordingly, the regular curriculum areas are composed of Language Arts, Mathematics, and Integrated Activities. This format makes the 3 Rs` of the Language Arts and Mathematics contextually utilized while studying the Integrated Activities and enhances the connectivity with the kindergarten curriculum where fully integrated learning is activated and the subject-oriented curriculum of the third grades. The researcher explained three rationales for the suggestion of the Integrated Activities and two necessary measures for fulfilling the purpose of it.
