단전주선과 간화선의 경험적 연구 : 원불교 정전 좌선법을 중심으로 = Empirical Study on Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon and Gan-Hwa-Seon: Based on Zen meditation in 『Jeongjeon(正典)』

The study is based on the researcher``s experience in Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon (Dan-Jeon-Ju meditation, 丹田住禪) and Gan-Hwa-Seon (Gan-Hwa meditation, 看話禪). First, this study describes the principle and method of the meditation practices of Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon and Gan-Hwa-Seon programs and consists of possible experiences in the process of the two meditation practices. Additionally, the common characteristics and features of Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon and Gan-Hwa-Seon are explained. The shared characteristics of two meditation practices are summarized first and then the features of each practice will be discussed. The tasks of won-buddhism suggested through this study are about the issues regarding the practice of the two meditations indicated in Zen meditation of Jeongjeon (正典). The first issue is about the breathing type of Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon. When the breathing method was changed from that of ``short`` and gentle to ``shallow`` and gentle, it turned out that all problems were solved. Secondly, several issues regarding the interpretational problems in the Dan-Jeon-Ju-Seon pratice are pointed out. Thirdly, the problemsregarding the expressions and the practices of Gan-Hwa-Seon are pointed out. The realistic issues are also raised. Gan-Hwa-Seon is regarded as a research subject like Uiduyeonma (Training in cases for questioning, 疑頭鍊 磨), however; this misunderstanding might lead to the opinion that Uiduyeonma at the end of Zen meditation rather interrupts Zen meditation Samadhi.
