The purpose of this study was to develop online content aimed at supporting the academic emotion regulation of low-achieving students in higher education and to evaluate its effectiveness. The online content consisted of four sessions covering key topics, including self-awareness, self-efficacy, stress management, coping strategies, goal-directed behavior, and self-reflection. The program was delivered via the learning management system (LMS) of K University, and survey responses from 61 students were analyzed. The results showed statistically significant improvements in goal-aligned behavior, positive reappraisal of emotions, and emotional awareness among low-achieving students. These findings suggest that the online content positively influenced academic emotion regulation by fostering interest in learning, academic persistence, and a more positive perception of emotions. This study underscores the need for universities to develop proactive support programs beyond traditional counseling services.
