아동영화 <집 없는 천사>와 형이상학적 신체의 기획 = Children`s Film Homeless Angel and Project of Metaphysical Body

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper aims to reveal the ideology of children’s movie during the period of imperial Japan. Specifically, this paper explores the film Homeless Angel. Homeless Angel deals with metaphysical body through isolation and discipline. The rising action begins when juvenile vagrants left in a juvenile reformatory called Hyang-Lin-Won. It is an escape from the confinement. when Yong-gil catches them who try to escape from the reformatory, he falls into a river. But all of their attempts have been ineffectual. Only their body needs reform through isolation and confinement. During the Japanese colonial period, the social attention for juvenile vagrants’ relief was raised from not sympathy for human rights but also need for sanitation, purification of cities, prevention of crimes. At that time, Japanese colonial government tried to change juvenile vagrants into the body of “Hwang-Kuk-Shin-Min”(The Imperial Subjugation of Korean People) and “Naesun ilche”(Japan and Korea are One Entity)
