외국인을 위한 한국어 어순교육 방안 = (A) study on korean word order education for foreign learners

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 외국어로서의 한국어 어순의 특징을 살펴보고 학습 현장에서 나타나는 어순 오류 양상을 분석한 후 어순교육 내용과 방안을 찾아내는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 어순 유형별로 나타나는 어순 오류 양상을 토대로 외국어로서의 한국어 교수․학습 현장에서 교사들에게는 보다 효율적으로 한국어 교수를 돕고, 학습자에게는 표현 능력 향상을 위한 한국어 어순 교육에 실제적인 기초 자료로서 사용될 수 있다.
Ⅰ장에서는 본 연구의 필요성과 목적 및 연구 문제를 기술하였다. 그리고 어순과 어순 비교 및 지도에 관한 선행 연구를 검토하여 주요 연구들의 의의와 한계점에 대하여 고찰해 보았다.
Ⅱ장에서는 연구에 필요한 이론적 배경을 소개했다. 우선 어순의 개념과 유형을 살펴보고 한국어 어순에 따른 기본 문형을 알아보았다. 또한 어순 교육 방안의 이론적 배경으로는 형태와 의미를 모두 중시하는 형태 초점 교수법(focus on form)의 측면에서 고찰하였다.
Ⅲ장에서는 한국어와 학습자 모국어의 어순 차이로 인한 어려움과 어순 유형별 오류 양상을 살펴보기 위한 연구 절차와 연구 대상 선정 및 연구 방법에 대하여 기술하였다. 그리고 예비 조사와 예비 실험을 실시한 후 본 조사와 본 실험을 통한 자료 수집 절차에 대하여 설명하였다.
Ⅳ장에서는 수집된 자료의 분석 방법과 분석 결과에 대해서 기술하였다. 수집된 자료를 통하여 학습자 인식 조사 결과를 분석하고 문어 과제 테스트 결과에 대해서도 분석하여 어순 차이로 인한 학습의 어려움을 어떤 영역에서 느끼는지 살펴보았고, 어순 오류 양상도 어순 유형별로 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지 알아보았다.
Ⅴ장에서는 Ⅳ장에서의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 한국어 교육에 적용하여 보았다. 우선 한국어 교재에 나타난 어순 내용을 살펴보고 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)에 나타난 어순 관련 문항을 분석하였으며, 이를 한국어 교육에 적용하는 방안을 모색하여 보았다. 더 나아가 초급과 중급 단계에 필요한 어순 교육 내용을 고찰하고 이에 바탕으로 어순 교육 방안을 제안하였다.
Ⅵ장은 맺음말로서 이 연구의 내용을 요약하고 결론을 내리면서 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 살펴보았다.
이상으로 본 연구에서는 표현 능력 향상을 위하여 어순을 고려한 한국어 교육에 대한 학습자의 필요를 파악하게 되었다. 어순 유형별로 살펴본 오류 양상의 분석 결과는 점차 다양해지고 있는 언어권의 학습자를 대상으로 하는 한국어 교육 현장에 시사하는 바가 크다고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to examine the characteristics of korean word order as a Foreign language, analyze the aspects of the errors in word order appeared in learning field, and find out the teaching contents and method of word order.
The result of this research can practically be used as a basic data by helping korean teachers to teach korean effectively and learners to improve korean proficiency.
In the first chapter, it was described the necessity and purpose of this research. For this it examined the implications and limitations of major research conducted by previous researchers, based on word order comparison and word order instruction.
In the second chapter, it was introduced the theoretical background for this research. First of all, it examined the concept and types of word order. And then it considered the basic sentence pattern based on word order. Also it examined focus on form accounts of form and meaning as the theoretical background of word order education.
Third chapter described not only the way to select the objects for research procedure but also how to collect data and carry into the research. It is for examining the aspects of the errors by the difficulty in learning and types of word order, which is from the difference of word order between Korean and learner's mother tongue. Especially it explained about the research procedure through a plenary survey and experiment after carrying out a pilot test.
The fourth chapter analyzed the result of the collected data. It analyzed the result of learner's awareness and of the written task test through the collected data. From this, it examined what difficulty learners are in by the difference of word order. Also it figured out the aspects of the errors by the types of word order.
The fifth chapter suggested how to apply the analysis result in Korean education. First, it examined the contents of word order appeared in Korean text book. And then it looked for how to apply them after analyzing questions related to word order. Futhermore it examined the contents of word order education that matches the level of beginner's or intermediate level. And it designed the practical lesson model.
The fifth chapter drew a summary and conclusion of this research as a closing part, it examined the educational implications and limitations of this research.
