황조롱이 Falco tinnunculus의 분류학적 위치에 관한 연구 = Taxonomic study of Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

황조롱이(Falco tinnunculus)는 매과(Family Falconidae)에 속하며 흔히 번식하는 텃새이고, 일부 개체는 계절에 따라 이동하는 철새에 속한다. 2021년 3월부터 2021년 12월까지 전남 해남군, 경기도 파주시, 인천시 강화군, 충남 서산시와 태안군에서 38개체의 번식 및 월동 개체를 포획하여 유전적 다양성과 구조적 특성, 형태적 특징을 분석하여 국내 황조롱이 집단의 계통분류학적 유연관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 모계유래의 미토콘드리아 유전자(Control region, Cytochrome b)의 염기서열 자료를 분석한 결과 황조롱이 집단들 사이에 현저히 낮은 유전적 분화도와 유전적 다양성을 보이며 이들 집단들은 모두 단일 그룹에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 황조롱이 수컷과 암컷 모두 형태적으로 변이가 심한 특징을 보였으며, 조사 기간 중 드문 철새로 도래하는 것으로 알려진 아종 한국황조롱이 F. t. tinnunculus는 확인되지 않았다. 한국에 분포하는 황조롱이는 텃새집단과 철새집단 모두 서식하므로 향후 텃새와 철새 집단의 형태적 변이 및 유전적 유연관계에 대한 추가적인 조사를 통해 아종 및 연령에 따른 형태적 특징, 분포 지역, 이동성에 대한 실체가 파악될 것으로 판단된다.
